We are based on a recovery-oriented, 12-step program. Counseling is tailored to introduce and incorporate the step work of this modality. Support groups can also be found by attending meetings like Alcoholics Anonymous. Through experiential programming we introduce opportunities for vital spiritual experiences. The foundation of such a program provides our residents with support for continuing on after leaving treatment. Continuing efforts on this path greatly increases sober and positive outcomes.
Family members can be stuck in a codependent relationship. Such an environment is not a healthy one for someone attempting to overcome drugs or alcohol. A part of our family counseling is to educate and to address problems of codependency within the home. In our program you have the type of environment where those involved can be honest and open with each other. Family-based therapies are usually conducted by professionals in the field with experience in substance abuse and family care. Following rehab, this type of continued therapy can be found for families. Also, family members have their own 12-step based support program found through Al-anon.
